Elton John in Saint Tropez

Elton John seems to be enjoying a well-earned vacation from his Vegas show as he joined longtime partner David Furnish in St. Tropez for sun, surf and shopping.

The happy couple lunched on a yacht and shopped hand in hand at the famed luxury boutiques that populate the lavish vacation destination. Other celebrities seen at the French seaside spot this summer include Jack Nicholson, Lily Allen, and Kate Moss.

John next takes his tour to Canada. The Rocket Man dedicated a performance of Tiny Dancer to dainty actress Reese Witherspoon who was spotted in the audience (accompanied by Jake Gyllenhaall of course) at a Philadelphia show earlier this month.
