Gay in the UK video blog (Ep. 22): The Pope and Oscar Wilde

In this edition of Gay in the UK, hosts Tim and Ryan are in their brand new studio headquarters, and covering the week's European news, inlcuding legal prospects for a lesbian prisoner who is fighting deportation because she fears persecution back in her native Jamaica, and the surprising revelation that Pope Benedict is a big fan of Oscar Wilde!

The boys also try to parse the upswing in homophobic hate crimes in London and conclude the data might be less depressing than it sounds.

Turning to culture, Tim gives his take on Bruno as well as Torchwood: Children of Earth, and finally, the guys hand out their patented Wino Awards to gayfaced Daniel Radcliffe and bisexual boybander Duncan James.

Check it out after the break!
