Sunday, September 20: As far as we’re concerned, Neil Patrick Harris could be hosting an all-day televangelism marathon and we’d tune in with reckless, school-girl abandon. Getting us to watch him host yet another major star-studded awards ceremony -- tonight, the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards -- is like stealing candy from a baby (actually, it's more like trying to give candy to a five-year-old). This year -- no surprise -- 30 Rock is out in front with 22 total nominations. HBO’s adaptation of Grey Gardens (starring Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange) is next in line with 17, and Mad Men is holding strong with 16 nods. The stars will be out in force and, as we may have mentioned, Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting. The show kicks off at 8:00 PM EDT on CBS. -- Joseph Hassan
