Rachel Maddow’s Defense of Gay Marriage
Massachusetts was the first state to legalize gay marriage, five years ago. The newest census indicates that men marrying men and women marrying women has strengthened the institution of marriage in the Bay State, with the divorce rate declining to below pre-World War II levels.Rachel Maddow reported the happy news on her show and shut down any detractors, saying, "Gay marriage is a 'defense of marriage' act."
