Neil Patrick Harris: Hot Host in the Bathtub

Funnyman Neil Patrick Harris is headed for a super September: Season 5 of his hit CBS series How I Met Your Mother premieres September 21 and the night before, Harris will play host to the 2009 Emmy Awards. He wowed audiences and CBS execs alike in May when he hosted the 63rd Annual Tony Awards without a hitch, save Bret Michaels’s set-related injury.

The veteran TV star, famous since the days of Doogie Howser, M.D., has said he is all about Doogie fans approaching him and striking up a nostalgic conversation. The out actor is featured in this month’s issue of Rolling Stone, where he posed in a bathtub and shared that he enjoys hitting Hollywood and celeb-heavy events with his longtime boyfriend, actor David Burtka. "I love going to the Playboy Mansion party with my boyfriend," he said. "Last year, we got dressed up as dead foppish Brits with topcoats and white contact lenses. These naked girls on Ecstasy kept coming up to us, like, 'We love your contacts.' We'd twirl around and say, 'Well, we like your breasts!'"
